This Maxwell Anderson play dates a bit but the subject is relevant even today. The present day Labor Unions nexus with big business in framing Union Leaders

exists even today at least in Developing countries. The dialogues are a little too stagy. Obviously the director preferred to maintain the original stage dialogues. The film as such resembles a play more than a movie. But worth watching and can be remade with a little mordernisation.

Great film.
This was a great film. Burgess Meredith and Margo were tremendous. The sound was not very good but acceptable. I loved it.

it. I saw it on a PBS channel one snowy Sunday evening as a child. I finally was able to buy it on dvd.If you love old movies please watch it.It is a compleatly forgotten gem.
